Chase Cricket, which started in 1997, aims to provide professional quality cricket bats for the serious cricketer as well as a team range for those looking for good kit at an affordable price.
The handmade cricket bats became a hit on the County circuit and at clubs and schools. They have been seen on the international stage in the hands of Matthew Hoggard and Shaun Udal.
Chase continues to offer only first grade bats, handmade at their workshop in Hampshire. They have three ranges of bat, the 175, 167 and the 150.
All of Chase's willow is sourced from J.S. Wrights in Chelmsford England. Every two months they visit J.S. Wrights bat willow plantation to hand select their clefts, assessing particularly weight and grain structure. J.S. Wrights have a continuing re-generation programme which is the best in the industry.
